Poetry Slam: That's what happens to the door when I read original work...but not at Hopmonk Tavern. This is kind of uniquely Sebastopol, which is to say...interesting. December 8th. Winners get a belt buckle with a bust of Longfellow.

December 16th Christmas Caroling at the Union Hotel: This is just the best event ever. The Union Hotel is decked out for Christmas, and the Gonella family have made THOUSANDS of cookies, hot cider, etc. If my kids were out of school I would be up there for sure.
