Hopmonk Rock Collection June 6th: No emeralds or sapphires but an otherwise great rock collection. If you're a rocker, check this out.
Hopmonk Tavern Sebastopol: Every third Sunday at 7pm is Open Mic comedy. I don't know Open Mic but I hear he's pretty good.
June 14th Occidental Center for the Arts: Geoff Muldaur: Described by Bonnie Raitt as "One of my favorite singers".....stop right there....I'm going! Just checked my schedule...I am going!! If you are reading this and staying somewhere else in the area you should go too.
Solstice seduction: June 21st Hopmonk Tavern: This band has "Intoxicating Sirens" and is sponsored by a pole dancing company. But of course it's all about the music, which sounds very entertaining. Longest day of the year, intoxicating sirens......well ok, I'll go. But think hard about eating outside at the Union Hotel in Occidental first. (you may not want to leave)
June 28th Occidental Center for the Arts: Claude Bourbon: This musician has great reviews. If an evening of superb fingerstyle acoustic guitar in Occidental in the summer sounds good to you, check it out. (I'll be at the salt mine)
June 28th Giro Bello: Really nice street bike ride through some very fine country. Earn that glass of wine in the hot tub!
Hopmonk Tavern Sebastopol: Here is the lineup for June.
June 7th: Do you like to walk?: If you are looking for a challenge while seeing the countryside from Sebastopol to Monte Rio up close and personal, check this out. 20-25 mile walk, totally supported. I know the route and it is beautiful.
June 6th and 27th: Sebastopol Center for the Arts: Documentary film festival movies.
Lynmar Winery Graton: A really great place to taste some wines, have a picnic and hang out.
June 8th Freestone: White wine and oysters at Joseph Phelps tasting room in beautiful Freestone.
